The 1972 version of The Last house on the left when the girl Phyllis was being stabbed to death by the three convicts and one of them pulled out her intestines and was playing with it also that scene had freaky music playing.
I have never seen American History X. So many of my coworkers have (they were of different races) and all of them have said that it was one of the toughest movies they've ever watched because of this exact scene. They brought it up during a random lunch and it totally changed the mood and a couple people teared up. One of my buddies told me to never watch it, even though it had a good ending. "Some scenes, you just can't get them out of your head" he said.
For me, the whipping scene in The Passion of the Christ was tough. They were lashing Jesus with barbed wire so bad that he literally had no skin left on his back, I thought the scene was over.... it wasn't. I hate seeing torture.
in_this_corner saidI see these threads for most disturbing movies...but what about specific scenes?
For me, the teeth smash on the sidewalk curb in American History X ranks up there...
The scene from "The Last House on the Left" where the lead bad guy is raping the blonde daughter. Its so realistic and it was so hard to watch the first time every other time i watch it with a friend i refuse to watch that.
