okay guys, having never tossed out any requests for advice before, this is a huge step for me. i'm thinking of getting a PA (prince albert) in the next few weeks/months, as several of my friends have them. always thought they were hot, so i'm very seriously considering it. i've already located a place here in baltimore, roughly 2 miles from the house and the guy that does it, specializes in just this very thing. he's been doing it for nearly 15 years and the place is spotless!

thoughts, opinions, suggestions? and be nice. icon_smile.gif like i said, i don't generally ask for advice in a forum, but hey, we're all friends, right?

Not trolling: the thought of stabbing a hole in my weener and hanging a heavy metal ring in the wound scares da fuck outta me.

I will say they look cool though.

But I've heard enough stories about the bleeding and post-op recovery (no sex for 3 months? /sadface...) for me to rule that out for myself.

The pain is really not so bad, and only lasts a second at most. I had very little bleeding when I had the piercing done, and none later. Mine healed fast. I was told some amount of time to wait before having sex. I waited three days. The weight of the ring is really not noticeable, and I have a 2 gauge ring. The jewelry is very stimulating during sex. I have a curved barbell, not a solid ring, so I can easily remove it. Some guys don't like giving oral sex with the jewelry in. I also prefer to remove it to use a condom. I piss out of two holes, so had to sit down to avoid spattering all over the place, if only a toilet is available. When I renovated my bathroom I installed a urinal, which works great. Or, you can just piss in the sink.

I think piercing in general is an archaic idea.

You would need to get some matching towel racks for your nipples :-).
Sorry the piercings are not my thing but if it's something you want then go for it.

If you do get one, make sure that you go for at least an 8 gauge from the start. 10 gauge and smaller can get easily yanked out of your dick (think "cheese slicer").

Also, have them use a hollow piercing needle so that it takes a plug of flesh out (instead of just "piercing" the flesh).

Beat off a few times before your piercing. You won't want to touch your dick for a few weeks. However, once it gets hard that first time...WOW! icon_twisted.gif

MuchMoreThanMuscle saidSo there appears to be different stories regarding how soon a person can have sex after having a PA piercing performed. I have been recently dating someone so I can't get one now as my partner would be displeased with me being out of commission for awhile. Not fair! icon_evil.gif

    That would be tragic, indeed....lol!

Afterwards, will you be making an 'Ask a pierced guy anything' thread?

Have a patient who was lounging by the pool sitting on his chair, stood up and got his PA caught in the chair's webbing... ripped through the glans. Went to ER, got a bad sew job (hard to get a 'good' sew job in such a sensitive location). Currently in a three-month healing mode to scar over prior to plastic surgery in what will likely be a poor attempt at reconstruction.

Besides the risk, they're not appealing. Reconsider.

What exactly are you asking? Are you asking if it's attractive? Or are you set on getting it and asking for maintenance advice? Or what??!

    From personal experience...

At first you will really love it! It is hidden and the information of having it can be shared with anyone that you please without being obvious. Soon, you will realize that when you try to hook up with men you will have to share the information with them first. Some love them...some hate them. The smaller gauge will get boring. So, you will increase the size. Maybe a size increase one or two more times. You will then have a 2 gauge Prince Albert. You'll have to do some creative "pinching" or sit to take a leak. If the piercing is out and you go to the restroom you will piss at a possible 90 degree angle. It the jewelry is in you will probably have urine spraying all over the place. Watch you pants and shoes! It'll start getting annoying because of the weight. You will also get paranoid and worry about airport security scans. If you are a runner or other sports you will have to constantly remove and re-install. Because it is so heavy you will probably dish out the extra cash for a titanium one that is lighter. Even with all of this it will still be "neat" to have. But, you will probably start wearing it less and less. In the end you will probably not wear it for a year at a time and sit down to piss for the duration of your life.

Is it fun to have? Yep! Can it be really annoying? Yep!

Pros and cons. Think it through carefully.

I'm not a fan, personally - they will ruin the look and function of your penis forever so think about it for a looooooooong time and make sure it's what you really want.

Can someone explain why guys with a PA have to sit when peeing? I really can't understand that one/ Why would you have 2 peeholes?

I don't like the idea of someone poking a hole through their cock. I think it looks repulsive. It seriously makes me cringe and would be a huge turn-off. There, I said it icon_eek.gif

Er, have you not thought about this? The clue is in the word 'piercing'. The piercing creates another hole in your dick. Which pee then comes out of, not in the normal stream.

That is freaky as hell. I didn't think the piercing went through the urethra, just the meaty part around it. How embarrassing would that be to have to sit down like a woman for the rest of your life?
