This is embarrassing especially for someone who is bilingual, but I am very unfamiliar with booking flights. I am looking for a flight from Pa to chicago for under $100 how do i get a deal like this?!

I'll try my best to help you out. One, where are you flying from in PA? And two, what dates will you be flying to and from Chicago? Getting a flight for under $100 will be possible...each way. Finding a flight for under $100 round-trip may be very difficult. In addition, the price depends on what carrier you fly into Chicago and what airport you fly into, i.e. O'Hare or Midway.

One thing I would consider, although it's a bit slower, is Megabus. Depending on when you book, you can get REALLY cheap seats. And I know they have major stops in Philadelphia and Chicago. You could probably get round trip for under 25. And if you consider how long you have to wait for check-in and everything at an airport, there isn't that much variance in duration.

Find someone who'll pay it for you.

Not knowing the Pennsylvania departure city, you could see what Southwest would offer from either PHL or PIT (Philadelphia or Pittsburgh) to Chicago Midway (MDW).

Well maybe a few years ago you might have been able to find that (possibly).

I could never find tickets under $250 no matter where I traveled to or from. The big things are fly on non-peak days. Also make sure to read the fine print.

You might get to find a ticket for $150 (lets say) but then their is the baggage fee and parking if you are leaving your car at the airport. baggage fees can be higher then the ticket at times.

    Good luck.

When you buy also plays into the mix. If you can buy at least three months in advance it'll be cheaper. I've also heard buying late at night on Tuesdays yields good deals, but I don't know how valid that is.
