Well you sure picked a good hero in the great 'dark one' (cheney) to promote as someone from which to glean experience and advice.

Lets recall that the 'dark one' was a "Project for the new American Century" (PNAC) NEO CON (this group was disbanded in shame once it was exposed for its trumped up push for cheney's favorite war project in Iraq)

cheney was set loose by bush to oversee picking his administration due to his 'vast experience', and who did cheney pick? 41 PNAC NEO CONS with dual citizenship with Israel out of 54. These were who cheney drew from for advise and from their experience, all with a conflict of interest in bringing the US into a war they wanted for their country's sake, not of primary interst to the US. The trumped up reason for war was Weapons of Mass Destruction, of the same kind as those the Israeli's were exposed by Carter as having 120 of.

Lets now review the kind of advice that cheney had from these NEO CONS from another country.

One of cheney's primary NEO CON's in the chain of advisors was MICHAEL LEDEEN

"Ledeen was a founding member of the JEWISH INSTITUTE FOR NATIONAL SECURITY AFFAIRS (A direct and obvious conflict of interest to be involved in US security interests) and he served on the JINSA Board of Advisors. In 2003, The Washington Post alleged that he was consulted by Karl Rove, G W Bush's closest advisor, as his main international affairs adviser."

"Michael Ledeen had been accused of being involved in the forgery which claimed that Saddam Hussein had bought yellowcake in Niger." Remember the plames who exposed this and who were effectively shut up because the truth hurt the war cause for the NEO CONS? It was very much in cheney's interest that Ledeen's accusers were discredited rather than Ledeen's lies for their cause.

"Writing in The Nation, Jack Huberman, who describes Ledeen as "the most influential and unabashed warmonger of our time", attributes these quotes to ledeen."

Here are some quotes from Cheney's advisor Ledeen

"The level of casualties in Iraq is secondary."
"we are a warlike people (americans), we love war"
"Change - above all violent change - is the essence of human History"
"the only way to achieve peace is through total war."
"the purpose of total war is to permanently force your will onto another people"
"Every ten years or so, the US needs to pick up some small crappy little country and throw it against the wall, just to show the world we mean business."
Check this guy out on wikipedia for more information, see if you think we should take advise from cheney who relied on such people as Ledeen for reasons to go to war.

Hey !!! You wouldn't ignore the facts above about who was behind these wars would you ? Both Republicans and Dems fell for the Propaganda and the IAPAC led backup work to keep down the truth that would have interfered in their cause of war. Do you approve of cheney's advisor above ? do you approve of such lopsided involvement from another country in forming War policy ? Do you buy into the propaganda that their interests are ours ? if so ---- Why ?

The USA was damn lucky to have a V.P. like Cheney during a time when we really needed him.

Cheney would have made a fine president. He is a stand up guy, brilliant, capable and possessing many of the top qualities of one of our very best presidents - Ronald Reagan. It is unfortunate for the country that Cheney isn't in the race.

Totally agree. If he were healthier, but not sure he even wants to be President even if he was healthy

True, a number of us PRE – tea partiers, card carrying righties, NEO CON right wingers tried really hard early in the 2000 election cycle to get this guy to run and he wanted nothing to do with it.

And absolutely, if he already had his heart transplant behind him and wanted to run in 2012, he would be without a doubt my choice for POTUS.

Nuttin like a homo lovin neo con right winger.

If you wanted a major push for immediate gay marriage, this would be the guy. What could anyone say, he’s got impeccable conservative credentials in every other way.

It's kind of like Clinton and welfare reform - a republican couldn't have done that.

God help you right wingers, true 'believers' who've drank the tea, and will not be waivered by facts, evidence, no matter the glaring truth staring you right in the face. Rather than discussion just sluff the facts off as spam. You embarass yourselves for being so incurious that in the face of all of the above, you'll have non of it. It is only as you wish it to be. The cheney way.

Usually such 'true believers' have religious beliefs that won't allow alternate information to confuse them.

so what are your excuses for buying into Cheneys rhetoric about the wars when there is so much evidence that all of it was based on trumped up evidence from a high volume of those from another country who had conflicts of interest, not primary US interests in mind. Where are your facts ?

The evidence that both parties were taken in by this group because of the money and influence against their doing otherwise, is abundant. Do you care ? What if 41 of 54 pushing cheney to war from within, were Russian? what if they were chinese ? or say French, or Cubans? Would you be quiet about such conflicts of interest taking us to war then ?

Next I'll hear that what I bring up is Anti Semitic, WOW !! what a setup these people have, disagreeing is out of the question, because when you do AIPAC tells us that's bad, Its Anti Semitic to disagree according to you far righter Tea and coolaid drinkers.

You true believing followers are exactly why we should fear allowing such people in the republican party anywhere near the whitehouse. Because when we do, we end up with people who don't want facts, people who are incurious and will only adhere to their religious or some NEO CON Ideology that will fit in with it. With such poeple we end up in such financial and economic troubled times as what we are going through right now and may very well be dealing with for another 5 to 10 years. We end up with loss of US influence around the world just as we are now, which will take many decades to put behind us.

But Carry on freedomisntfr, as you say, I am spaming by showing the facts. cover your eyes, your ears, and be sure not to let facts confuse you.
