Hemorrhoid or fissure. See a doctor.

It sounds like you've got a blood clot (hemroid) from lifting weights... I got one of these a few years ago. Get in to see the doctor, he needs to drain it for you.

If its pain, its not an internal hemorrhoid.

I guess if when you use the machine if you are bearing down on your abdomen instead of just tightening it during these exercises you could be creating that sensation

I agree. Internal Hemorrhoids do not cause pain. It's probably an thrombosed external hemorrhoid. It's time to take a look and feel around and see if there's a hardened, round-like structure sticking out. It hurts like hell, and yes I know this by experience.

Internal hemorrhoids can cause pain too.

    From Web MD:

    http://www.webmd.com/a-to-z-guides/hemorrhoids-topic-overview

    Web MDInternal hemorrhoids

With internal hemorrhoids, you may see bright red streaks of blood on toilet paper or bright red blood in the toilet bowl after you have a normal bowel movement. You may see blood on the surface of the stool.

Internal hemorrhoids often are small, swollen veins in the wall of the anal canal. But they can be large, sagging veins that bulge out of the anus all the time. They can be painful if they bulge out and are squeezed by the anal muscles. They may be very painful if the blood supply to the hemorrhoid is cut off. If hemorrhoids bulge out, you also may see mucus on the toilet paper or stool.

    (I can't believe this is what I'm discussing on a Saturday night. icon_eek.gif )

Sounds like an hemorroid (internal or external, they both hurt as hell). If ii has been there more than a week and hasn't healed by itself is time to see your doctor. Sitting on it -pun intended- can lead to serious complications. Experience talking.
