I'm a huge Florida fan. But I'm so so so disgusted with them. It's like they've been cursed since Alabama beat them in 2009 S.E.C. Championship Game. I'm not sold at all with Charlie Weis as offensive coordinator. The offense is worst than last YEAR. Matter of fact....the entire team is worse than last years cluster-fuck.

Florida will be lucky. And I mean extremely to make a bowl this year. It's so fing frustrating all those top 5 recruiting classes and this is what they have to show for it?????? Honestly why would you hire a coordinator(whose team. Was fresh off a losing season with Texas) to run what used to be an elite program. Honestly I don't see Florida ever getting back to their old ways and if they do it will atleast two head coaches down the road.

Just had to let that out!!!!

That they did...to the tune of 41-0.

Florida does look awfully flat, but they may still have a shot at a bowl game...if they can go 6-5 and that is a good possibility. The last rumor I heard was they might be in the Gator Bowl, but now that doesn't look all that good.

Speaking of UCF, they could also be bowl bound, but it's the Beef O'Brady's Whatever The Name Is This Week bowl in St. Pete. If the Knights could get out of the Catholic Girls School Conference they are in and jump to the Big East, it will mean much more exposure for what is not that bad of a football program...and get into the BCS picture and better bowl trips.

Your head coach got Texas through some great times. Coaching transitions are never easy, it usually takes teams a year to get it together after changing coaches unless the team already has ridiculous talent.

I'm not gonna make a judgement yet but it does seem like Muschamp is in over his head right now. It's his first year, but if they don't improve next year, he might last about as long as Ron Zook did. It is Florida, after all- but with that said, it's still Florida, they have the name brand, and will get back to elite status eventually. And Charlie Weis might want to come up with some decent plays in between cheeseburgers.

Since no Irish fan appears to want to chime in, I'll just give a little reminder of Charlie Weis' record in South Bend:

Total record at Notre Dame: 35-27 in 5 seasons (3rd worst among coaches with at least 3 years in the school, and worse than both his predecessors Tyrone Whillingham and Bob Davie)
Record at Notre Dame after graduation of Brady Quinn: 16-21
Received 10-year contract extension in his first season after a 34-31 loss to USC (albeit a team with the likes of Reggie Bush and Matt Leinart)
Started 0-5 for 1st time in school history (2007)
Snapped 44-year winning streak over Navy
Finished 3-9 and last in total offense in FBS (2007)
Finished 6-6 in 2008 and beat Hawaii in Hawaii bowl
Finished 6-6 in regular season in 2009 and got fired

Sure he might have been good in Foxborough, or Kansas City (arguable), but those were the days.

In fairness, hasn't Florida lost both it's starting QB and it's back up. Teams running with a third string QB are never in a good position.

Maybe they should pick up Tebowing. Seems to work for the Denver Broncos.

Florida beat Vandy 26-21. So there now 5-4. Up next is South Carolina. I'm hoping for a win but preparing for a loss.

A little annoyed by Charlie Weis going for two....with us up 26-14 with like two minutes left. That couldve been a disaster. If not for a flag on Vandy.
