I'm hooked. It's pretty cool seeing all the story book characters brought to life and mingling with each other. I just hope it's more sci-fi than Desperate Housewives....

I like it I just hope they can make it good enough to be a series, the plot seems like it would make a great movie and I'm afraid they might just draw things out to try and make it fit

I saw the first episode and didn't really care for it. I'll watch the second episode and see how I feel... but I doubt I'll like it.

    Why?

Because I'm a bit of a snob when it comes to anything involving fairytales and storybooks. I'm an originalist and a purist. It annoys me that they put Pinnochio and Geppetto in the show, when they are not fairytales, they're from a relatively modern (19th century) book. It would be like putting Harry Potter in there, or Dorothy.

And the writing seems pretty weak.

More Evil Queen, less little Henry and Jennifer Goodwin with her bad haircut.

I personally prefer Grimm, but this show has a lot of pretty men in it.

On a more nitpicky note, those weren't honeycrisp apples - they were red delicious. Jeez!

No, Henry is adorable and I love the scenes between him and his mom, his real mom, not the Evil Queen.

Just the pilot. Judging by her slick NYC apartment, it's the story of how the world's best compensated bounty hunter stumbles upon fairytale characters from an alternate dimension cursed to live in ours, trapped in an incredibly picturesque town on the ocean within commuting distance of Manhattan. That town, "Storybrooke," reminds me of "Peyton Place," a similarly improbable postcard perfect confection that everyone was trying to escape from with a train to Manhattan, oceanfront sailing and winter ski resorts. I suspect the real curse in both places were the property taxes.

I am so bored with him. No dimension whatsoever. Waaaah I'm a little kid, waaaah.

And I had to double check to make sure that was Pam with the perm and stuff. I LOLed at the pet unicorn part. Those were some good pumps.

This show has the potential to be either very good or very bad. Im leaning towards the latter, but in the meantime I'm enjoying it!
