Revisiting classic tv shows

So instead of watching a lot of newer tv shows and getting invested with the show being canceled, we've been watching a lot of classic tv shows. It surprises me how few young people know the shows I am talking about but also saddens me too. These shows are iconic and really were a commentary of the times they were from. Interesting and thought provoking. What are some of your favorite classic tv shows and do you watch them now with DVD?

Besides Star Trek and Doctor Who. We've been watching:

    Dynasty
    The Bionic Woman
    Sapphire & Steel
    Gunsmoke
    The Virginian
    Battlestar Galactica (original)
    Alfred Hitchcock Presents

    Recently revisited:

    SOAP!
    Northern Exposure

Actually, there were a lot of years when I didn't have cable, so there are many episodes that I've never seen. Oh, I don't think I've seen most of DS9 or Enterprise either. Might look at those this winter.

Ooh, I liked Northern Exposure. I watch very little TV but if I catch any of these I will watch:
    M*A*S*H
    Mary Tyler Moore
    Taxi
    Cheers
    One Day at a Time

Here in the LA area, we have two DTV stations that show nothing but old TV shows. It's freakin great! icon_biggrin.gif

ThisTV has affiliates in other states/cities. Check their site to see if they're in your area.

MeTV is a local independent station and has a decent line-up of classic shows.
