What fame would you choose if you could be famous? Singer? Actor? Director? Reality TV?

I want to be famous so badly, not to be popular... But to release my ideas upon the world. I always wanted to be a singer, and I always wanted to make an underworld-esque image for myself with dark edgy pop music like timbalands the way i are.

Or a novelist, I have so many stories I want to share with the world. Or even a script writer.

    Maybe one day icon_smile.gif

    How about you guys?

Um... none of the above. I've had my 15 minutes and it was enough. A few footnotes in college textbooks is enough.

I've sometimes thought that Michael Dorn had (has?) the perfect fame. He could put on his "Worf" makeup and have thousands of fans, then wipe it off, and walk down the street anonymously. Or Dan Castelleneta.

p.s. Guys, the way to be a writer is STFU, sit down and write. Then write some more. And keep at it until you find someone who wants to read it. Not "some day." Now.

    Right now.

Ive always dreamed of being a writer. I wrote two novels a few years ago, but I sealed them away afterward; I figured people can read them after my demise. icon_lol.gif

The only other 'fame' that's possible for me is voiceover work. I was recently asked to narrate a series of documentaries. Who knows, maybe I could be the next Ben Patrick Johnson (minus the body..lol).

Expert commentator equally at home on CNN and Comedy Central.

Waiting for the usual suspects to chime in with Unabomber.

Singer if I had a good voice lol. I mean, my voice isn't TERRIBLE, but I need a lot of vocal training. I think if I practiced I could actually be decent.

As for the type of singer, I'd like to be a country singer with pop and rock influences.

The pursuit of fame represents everything that is wrong with modern popular culture. It used to be that people who became famous had a reason to be.

I'm a singer/actor/dancer working towards Broadway in NYC. It isn't the easiest life, but I definitely have changed my mind about fame.

I used to want it, but now I (cliche) want to enrich people. Not everything is so deep, but we do theater so people can escape for a while. And plus I get to wear some kick-ass costumes.

If I were famous, I'd be a huge pain in the ass. "I SAID NO GREEN M&M's!!!"

    I also forgot Model haha,

I'd be famous for being a model.

But only if I had the metabolism of a panther. Cbf eating 5 carrot sticks a day.

So it's decided, in my youth im a famous model, then I discover I can sing... Follow through with that until in my 30's.. Write heaps of books and then in my 40's do a Stephen King and get them made into movies, then in my 50's do a Madonna and make my own films as a director.

I also forgot Photographer, i'd love that aswell icon_smile.gif

Fame is highly overrated. So many famous people don't deserve to the attention they get.

If I was going to do anything "fame worthy," I think I'd want to be a singer/songwriter. I can't do either. I don't expect to become famous writing computer software. I guess I'll have to be satisfied with the things in life that actually matter.
