For all you music lovers out there, are any of you guys going to any of these three music events on the west coast?

    EDC Electric Daisy Carnival
    June 8-10, 2012
    http://www.electricdaisycarnival.com/

    Coachella
    April 13-15 or April 20-22 2012
    http://coachella.com/

    Stagecoach
    April 27-29 2012
    http://stagecoachfestival.com/

My goal this year is to cross all three of these off my bucket list.

I did Coachella a few years ago... it's an incredible weekend. When the bands are announced and everyone complains that it's "like, the worst lineup ever" just ignore them and buy your tickets anyways. It really doesn't matter who plays, Coachella is all about the experience. And you'll discoverer a lot of new music while you're there... I had barely heard of Fever Ray before Coachella, and it ended up being one of the best live shows I've ever seen.

That is what I loved about it. There was a surreal atmosphere and a flood of new music. The lineup, while important, matters little compared to what you do/ how you spend your time there. I cannot wait for next year's experience.

I already bought my ticket for Coachella, my family did the presale because last year it sold out in like a week, so we bought extra so all our friends can come. Its going to be a great first time Coachella experience.

And your right, its not the line-up that makes it, its the experience and people. I am beyond stoked.

Coachella lineup just announced... I wanna go for Radiohead, M83, and Florence + the Machine. Lots of great DJs on there too. Don't care at all about Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg.

TBH I'm really not a hardcore music fan and I've probably heard of 10/230958350359805383595 bands/artists performing but I'm thinking of going to Coachella this year because I've never been to California and I feel like at some point while I'm young I need to experience some type of free-for-all music festival.

Other than to possibly see some hot looking cowboys, there would be absolutely no reason to go to Stagecoach.

I've done Coachella three times. It's a great festival, but I'm skipping it this year.

The biggest draw on the bill for me would be Amon Tobin, but I saw him in a smaller venue in October, so I don't feel I'm missing out on seeing one of my favourite artists at such an amazing event.

It'll be my 6th Coachella and I'm so psyched. Truly life-changing if you experience it with the right people. And it puts all the gay parties to shame; after Coachella, you realize what low-rent rip-offs like the White Party really are.

Ditto EDC. Vegas upped-the experience last year, attracting a well-behaved, beautiful, pan-sexual crowd who danced until the sun rose over the Nevada desert.

I did EDC last year... if it wasn't such an expensive journey from Canada to go I'd be going again this summer. Amazing experience though and I still suffer from withdrawal of that weekend
