Now I haven't done a scientific assessment of any sort or anything close to it, but am I the only one who notices an inordinate number of Canadians on this website?

    Bring on the Canucks!

    OK, I'll bite, lol.

RJ advanced search shows 176,914 profiles stating they are in the US.

    17,474 from Canada

    16,188 from the UK

    11,312 from Australia

    4,250 from China

Possible hypotheses off the top of my head:

    1. You are into pale men and more Canadians stay out of the sun.
    or

    2. Canadians spend more time on the computer, particularly when the cold weather hits.
    or

    3. Canadians are the perfect mix: foreign enough to seem a little exotic, but near enough to be accessible (geographically or culturally).

And, I do seem to notice that I click on pictures that end up being Canadian quite frequently--so whatever maple-leaf-driven obsession you have, I've got as well.

Yes but that's only .05% of total US population and that is .053% of Canadian population. We have a higher probability of running into each other.

Hmm, I don't know about that... I just wore a hoodie instead of a jacket today in Toronto. Ask members in Pennsylvania, Connecticut, New Jersey, & New York what the weather's like...

Oh that's right, a lot of them don't have their electricity back on yet.
