    Keep at it.
The formula to toning your waistline is gym time + diet + stress management + rest (+ genetics). It just takes time.
If you're working out your core, you should notice that your core is getting stronger and you probably have better posture. You have a nice firm stomach, it's just under a layer of fat. Keep your metabolism up, burn the fat, and be consistent with your exercise and diet.

Ermine is right. Keep going, it WILL happen but it takes time. Also, once the change noticeable progress will be fast as you'll know the metabolism has stepped up a gear or two and is working 24/7.

Paleo diet...because only working out will do nothing without proper nutrition.
