    Awesome, awesome movie.
Saw it in London last night.

Like Lost In Translation, but not about living in a foreign country and with men who like men.

I saw it here in LA a few weeks ago with the bf. It was VERY good. Very well done, and not another lame unrealistic gay movie. I think I saw a few people crying in the theater.
Without giving it away I had a similar experience. However I moved across country to get my man icon_biggrin.gif

I watched this at the Seattle International Film Festival earlier in year. Beautiful and very touching film. It made me cry a little.

i saw it and thought it was really overrated. it's basically a play stuck in a film. the writing was contrived by the situation that is revealed only half-way through the film. there was also the issue of the contrived "side characters" who really didn't exist at all except to further nothing. the film fails to succeed in the way "real-time" movies often don't... with exceptions of dinner with andre or before sunset. what you're left with is a lot of impulsive moments that are too significant for their own good without the necessary and realistic points of deflation. the film was also about 15 minutes too long and i really disliked how it was often transgressive but reverted to cliched issues of self and comfort with self-identity. there were some nice moments and the cinematography is gorgeous. that alone is worth the price of admission. overall, i thought it was just all right.
