i currently live with 4 roomies...all around my age (19).

anyway, my question is: is it normal to have to listen to thier loud music and sex moans? im listening to both simultaneously right now.

its not fun per se, and i have spoken up. one night i was awakened at 2:30 in the MORNING because this sick fuck was literally SHAKING the house with his stereo. lets just say he stfu after i had a chat with him. its happened several times now and im considering looking for another place

anyone else have any annoying/ rude as hell roommates or neighbors?

Shitty neighbors, I can understand. But your actual roommates won't keep the noise down after you discussed it with them? Time to move. If your name isn't on the lease, just pick up and leave when they're not around. You can screw them over and let them worry about next month's rent.

Roommates should have agreed upon rules for the house - quiet hours, etc - especially if it's a college situation.

My roommate eats all my food. It's a consistent problem. I want her to stop, but she is always saying how broke she is...so I don't know. I'd take sex noises over her greedy stomach.

I hate people who play their music loud without asking the others if it bothers them. I guess it is a matter of education, if they got some from home...
I always listen to music on the headset, unless I'm alone or my roommate says it's ok.

My roommate insists he has a better taste in music than I do so he was blasting it all day today on the surround sound system we have. Then I couldn't hear my own music. He wasn't even in the room when he had the music playing and wouldn't let me stop it or turn it down.

If it bothers the rest also, not only you, can't you kick him out?
He sounds like a douche, he needs to learn respect...Stuff his head in the toilette
