I love it. I just recycle everything they give me. I guess I'll go ahead and send it back.

    Brilliant!
    Thanks for posting.
    I'm down with this 100%.

I just had a new roof put on my house last month too, and I have a leftover packet of roof shingles.
I will definitely be cutting some of them up into envelope size pieces to send our friends at the big banks.

It's great to read a thread post on here that isn't the usual right-wing bullshit posted by our loony RJ Repub friends.
Our RJ Repub friends are apparently too clueless to realize how much of their time and energy they're WASTING posting all the bullshit they post on the blog threads here.

Although I do appreciate the comic relief they provide!

Touche! I had no idea there were so many gay republicans till I joined this site. I think they like to reject "mainstream" gay culture and want to be "normal" but thats a whole other topic for discussion.

So you're surprised that there are those who think differently? Let's start by attempting to think critically about the video. Those are the same firms that ruined our economy by speculating on the housing market? Not quite.

Is there no sense of responsibility for those who borrowed far more than they should have? Who fudged their finances in order to buy bigger homes? But beyond this - you do realize of course that the firms dominant in credit cards are often not the big banks - but those like MBNA who do send out far more in advertising/junk mail like that?

Have you considered that it's possible to both be proud of being gay AND not be a drone to the what's popular and bothering to try to understand a bit about markets and responsibility? Personally I think being a libertarian is far more consistent than being gay and a socialist. Free markets and free people and all.

That's because most of them are actually one person, with a bunch of fake accounts. pretending to be many people, all saying the same thing.

If you're a libertarian, shouldn't people be free to send whatever they want back in those annoying/wasteful/endless junk mail envelopes?
I know you conservatives are militant about defending freedom of speech (at least in the form of corporate donations to politicians)... this is just as much "speech" as paying off a politician so your corporation gets what it wants, right?

Could you be PresentMind? You both suffer from the same characteristics. And you think it is impossible for more than 1 person to have the same political outlook? Of course you know better but you want to display the same childish picayunishness as the departed member. Not intending to respond to you further. You're as insignificant as your alter ego.

Absolutely - you do have the right to send whatever you want in those envelopes. I have no problems with it just as I have no problems with calling you on it and pointing out how silly it is given that generally they're not the same institutions that caused the crisis.
