sometimes you gotta do it. Vacations can be nice and you can surprise yourself. I think I did this once and I didn't lose anything (in fact I may have been stronger on some exercises).

Yeah, I'm currently taking a week off too, mainly due to the exams interfering with my week. After 7 weeks of going to the gym as if it was Sunday mass, a week off is certainly making me feel a bit better. icon_biggrin.gificon_lol.gificon_razz.gificon_wink.gif

After finishing the latest 12 week course, I've taken a week off too and I'm feeling guilty. I feel your pain. It looks like the fat's coming back. Think I'll do some calisthenics when I get home.

    It's such a trip!

And its all in our heads, but after loosing 1/2 the weight i need to, and finally starting to see muscularity, it makes me feel like self-sabotage.

I understand it is good for me, but all I can do is think about how I could be burning all this extra fat!

Do they make a patch or gum for this at all? icon_lol.gif

Guilt trip is a good sign. That means you are past the "I can't believe people do this for fun" stage, and in the "I can't believe this isn't required from birth" stage. Besides, its just one week. Just chill and be ready to give it 110% when you come back!

Well Good for you that you're feeling this guilt trip
It means that you're hooked and that you're going to
keep at this long after your stint with your trainer is over
    ....
But be aware that your trainer is doing this for a reason
your body needs to hit the reset button
and that it's only going to make you stronger
what you can do in the meantime to work off some of that physical energy is run, bike, go rollerbladeing anything that works off some of that physical energy
