It will force the GOP/tea party into McCarthy era protocol................

And that will be the end of democracy as you know it.

Yes yes, collectivist thugs, we know. Illinois is becoming a failed state and Chicago a failed overpriced city. I think I'll take Walker and a balanced budget with school surpluses and a booming economy with thousands of new jobs and a more business friendly climate since he took office over their thuggery.

What about Texas? Will you take the Texas mirage- touted by conservatives as an excellent example of conservative ideals at work- now that you know its all a big lie?

Texas is a border state that has to pander to the latino majority now who are wrongfully sensitive and opposed to tough stances on immigration because they feel that they are being singled out over racial issues (which is not the case) and so most Texas "conservatives" are socially conservative and fiscally liberal which is worse than just being a liberal across the board. Look at Rick Perry on immigration issues. Conservative my ass. Then again, the majority rules and he wanted to be governor.

Nah, you're just incapable of figuring out how all of this works and why certain "conservative" states are failures just like the liberal states. Doesn't matter if someone calls themselves conservative or not it has to do with the policies. It's like talking about how Bush helped to destroy our economy with his stances on housing and linking those failures with his being a "republican" while ignoring that all of those failures came from him embracing and going along with liberal (more accurately, statist) economic intervention policies.

No different with Rick Perry. Texas has a strained school system and they are failing in education. GEE, I fuckin' wonder why!

The "fiscal conservatives" who do oppose any illegal immigration sanctioning are in the minority now in Texas. The new wave of "conservatives" from the latino communities are primarily religiously conservative and fiscally liberal. Trust me, I've spent a lot of time with those communities in The Valley. It's all about "we need to have more family values".

Show me an example of this new latino conservative faction. No one in power here in Texas fits that profile that im aware of.

Strange that you have turned your back on Texas. Prior to Perry hitting the national spotlight, you and riddler couldnt stop raving about our great state

Puh-leez. I've never once lauded Perry as a paragon of the kind of "conservatism" I stand for. He is just another scumbag bush. Although, I may have praised a couple things in terms of job-creation, if that's what you're referring to.

Sadly, I dislike virtually all of the candidates running except for the ones like Ron Paul and Huntsman that clearly have no chance at winning now.

You have to really mingle and get involved with the communities in The Valley to understand what I'm talking about. The church and the idea of "family values" are at the center of the latino communities.

The valley is heavily democratic with no power, no money and no influence.

The only issues keeping them democratic have to do with immigration. Latinos are now the majority and it is only a matter of time before they are the super-majority. Once the so called "conservatives" indicate that they are "okay" with illegal immigration those places will all turn red in a heartbeat.

Why do you think Perry is pandering? Because he knows that it's over. You can't win Texas if you take a hardline against illegal immigration anymore.
