What will your Thanksgiving menu consist of?
This could be the meal you are cooking or the one you are going to Mom and Dad's to have.
    I am doing a
    Turkey Roulad
    Potato Salad
    Green bean Casserole
    Sausage and Mushroom Stuffing
    Creme Brulee

    1) Turduckin... I had it last year and I can't ever go back to a single animal that isn't crammed full of two other animals.
    2) Dutch Apple Pie - I make the pie and the crust from scratch.
    3) Egg Nog - homemade, with spiced rum. No store bought nog for my loved ones, thanks.
    4) Lemon Meringue Pie - I swear I'm going to find out how to make a meringue that doesn't fall or weep... we'll see.

I make Christmas Bark every year so that my family can be eating while we prepare to... be eating. Gluttony is the reason for the season!

BBQed Turkey will be served from 12 PM until 8 PM at the brother in-laws. There will be mashed potatoes, three bean salad, beans, corn, biscuits, rolls, cranberry sauce, several types of stuffing, several types of rice... lots of stuff, each coming from someone else's kitchen.

Since I raised plenty of sweet potatoes I will be in charge of 4 large trays of candied sweet potatoes, a long with my sweet potato pies (5 this year since there were special requests.

I have the pumpkin on steaming today, In a little while I will be scraping the meat out of the skin and making pumpkin puree, I am only making 4 pumpkin pies this year.

In the course of that 8 hour period about 50 people will pass through my Brother in law's house. Extended family, some arriving early and staying late, others just passing through on the way to other get togethers.

I am baking at least one each of low fat no sugar sweet potato and pumpkin pies, we have a couple three diabetics. There will be a vegetarian 'meat' dish - this changes from year to year.

A large array of choices, some devilishly bad, others saintly good for you and good to eat too.
