Skyrim fail

  Okay so long story-ish. Ended up bumping into this guy at work who seems pretty nice. We get nerdy talking really well and have to cut the conversation short due to me being at work.
  Anyway turns out he works at some huge retail store that sells games, music, and heaps of other technology. Found that out because I went to that store after work and he said hi to me.
  Conversation starting up again to which was cut short again because he's at work lol.
  
  Anyway the whole gist of this random rant is that I end up getting Elder Scrolls Skyrim a day ahead of release and then he gets me his staff discount so I get it early and cheaper and then I can't even install it because STEAM keeps saying it's not released yet!

  Maybe it's not released because you got it a day before the release.

  LOL okay haha yes thanks for the replies I did read over what I posted.
  What I meant was that I was totally excited about getting it early and thought I was so cool for being able to play it a day before release.
  Little did I know it requires STEAM with an online internet connection to validate and successfully install it so I still have to wait for tomorrow to play it.

  Haha I am exactly the same, my friend's partner's birthday is this Sunday and I was like "... but skyrim".
  
  On a side note that guy totally got me feeling a little giddy haha. Give a nerd a game before release date and discounted too, almost had me smitten LOL.
  I joke, I joke, but really I was just a little.

  GameStop faces thousands of dollars in fines for breaches of contract like this, enough so shut down some locations. This guy risked his potential career for you, put a ring on it!

  Oh crap! It was at JB Hifi which I'm not exactly sure is an international company.
  I hope he doesn't get demoted or fired because he wasn't even the one that served me. He told the guy who was serving me to give me the discount.

  Tell me about it! What's the point of even getting the cd since it seemed like it virtually just downloaded it off the internet?
  
  Major nerdgasm here, am sleeping 6am in the morning because I was adamant to at least create my character before I went to sleep. Then I played a little bit and then BAM 6am lol!
