What is your immediate reaction when you see someone wearing braces (i.e. on their teeth)?

    Are you immediately turned off?

i had braces when I met my partner, and we had no troubles over it. Personally, I wouldn't care. I don't think they are sexy, necessarily, but they aren't a negative either.

The only downside is people with braces have to be damn careful when giving head...

I think I will probably be the odd one out here but I actually think there's somthing really sexy about a guy with braces.

With all of the other hardware that people are sticking in their faces these days, what could be wrong with something that's actually functional?

If anything, seeing braces on a guy gives me a twinge of jealosy, because I haver had the cash for them, when they could have done me some good.

I just got my braces off after 21 months, and never felt like they were a social spoiler. Annoying at times, but not a big issue. Now it's the retainer I can't stand because I know I can take it out, but shouldn't.

p.s. Since most braces are on the outside of the teeth, they aren't really a factor in a blow job.

the responses seem to all be counter-intuitive, one would normally think that braces would be a turnoff.

Leg braces are a total turn on for me, especially if they are on crutches too

i am with musclebucket. leg braces in, invisiline out. it is funny to admit, but when i see a guy with metal braces it is a turn, cause it has a highschool nostalgia to it. honestly i should have been more active with men then, so my repression is your gain!

    re: leg braces

what is it about an injured man that can be so sexy? is it that we have the urge to take care of him? or the urge to take advantage of him? or his being injured as a possible sign that he is a risk taker?

I definitely prefer a man with braces than a man with a full mouth of gnarled teeth.

Any grown man brave enough to wear braces is a definite STUD in my book. Better to have a man with braces, then a man who looks like he's been chewing ROCKS!

I have braces at the moment. I had a very, very bad smile since I was young and I was too poor to really afford them. So when I turned 19 I decided to go for it since I finally had the funds. The orthodontist told me I was "really brave" for getting them at my age...I told him "no, I just don't wanna' be 25 and have Austin Powers' smile."

I should have them off soon. I have just one more tooth that needs to be properl aligned :)

^ I had braces when I was 27, and it was an absolute nightmare! I had them on for 2 years, and I can tell you smiling is not an option. It was a complete turn off! I had the clear braces so you could hardly see them, however the little elastic bands that held the rails on would stain usually they went green, resulting in a lovely green smile.

I currently have braces and I'm 22 years old. I wish I had them when I was younger but better late than never. I've had them on for about a year and half and I'm almost done. They were definitely worth it and I haven't had any awkward moments because of them.

Well in that case maybe I should go get some. I was just always afraid that I was too young and would look stupid. But I really do need, probably still can't afford them though.

ultimately, it's all about the person's confidence, if you act like the braces don't bother you, it should come off to the guy youre dating, I'm going to get my braces by the end of the year, no worries for me...
