The GOP has a great candidate in Montana in Representative Denny Rehberg. People are sick of Tester and his vote for Obamacare and the stimulus bills. This is a Solid GOP state the Republicans will win in the Presidential Election next year.

George Allen is running to take his old seat back. The Dems have a good candidate in Tim Kaine, but it probably wont be enough. The state is trending back to the GOP. This should be a pickup.

Florida has been leaning toward the Republicans in the last decade. Bill Nelson is in trouble. The Dems will have to fight hard to keep this seat, as the GOP has a list of strong candidates. Its a total tossup.

With ND, WI, NE, MO, MT, VA, and FL, the GOP will have an 54-46 control in the Senate. And theres more to come.

Um, I disagree... certainly with your description of Montana as a "solid GOP state". I suggest you look at the current makeup in that state... it now "leans GOP" whereas some years ago it was "solidly GOP.

The same could be said about Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado and Nevada
Except New Mexico now is a tossup as is Colorado and Nevada.

Some of the seats are the GOP's for the taking, others they have a really great chance in. My point is that the Senate is the GOP's to lose.

New Mexico is a tossup, I dont have it on this thread, but its another GOP pickup opportunity. Colorado has no seat up next year and Nevada has a seat that leans toward the GOP.

Virginia trended more Republican in this off-year election, but this has been and remains a purple state. Tim Kaine is enormously popular. George Allen is not. This will be a real horse race and I expect it to go down to the wire.

Red States alone are going to give the Republicans back the Senate. So no worries. The Dems really should campaign on jobs, they have 9% unemployment to go on, hahahahahahahahahahahaha.

Who cares about Kacsich, thats a state issue.
