Trailers usually display the best of the main attraction. This generates buzz and anticipation which results in a high turn out when the main attraction is released. Her music video already has over 1 million views and its just been out for a day. The more views the video gets the more money the label makes. I am not sure how this is can be considered stupid?
From Wallstreet Journal: "Money is trickling back to the labels: A label whose videos rack up 10 million streams on Vevo could collect around $70,000."
So Katy Perry has over 600,000,000 views in total. If you do the math she has made about $4,200,000 from her youtube channel? This might be an over estimation but even if she just made $1,000,000. How is this stupid?
Do you just "feel" like its stupid?
