    Um, thanks for the info?
Curious fact that I now know thanks to you: Saskatchewan is like Wyoming and Colorado.
wikiViewed on a map, Saskatchewan appears to be a quadrilateral. However, because of its size, the 49th parallel boundary and the 60th northern border appear curved. Additionally, the eastern boundary of the province is partially crooked rather than following a line of longitude, as correction lines were devised by surveyors prior to the homestead program (1880–192icon_cool.gif.

Interesting facts about the provinces of Canada:

-The Dominion of Newfoundland [and it's dependency, Labrador] was the tenth province to join the Confederation in 1949

-Nunavut is the newest province in Canada, having been created from the Northwest Territories in 1999

-The Yukon was officially referred to as the Yukon Territory until 2003

In 2001 the Province of Newfoundland was changed to The Province of Newfoundland and Labrador

Any island in Hudson or James Bay is part of Nunavut

The southernmost part of Canada is Point Pelee.. actually Pelee Island in Lake Erie

    This thread remains.

But the threads which I posted about Israel (which was just the word Israel in the topic subject line and a map of Israel) and "Palestine" (which was just the word Palestine in the subject line and a picture of the Palestinian flag) were deleted.

    Telling.
