I am getting quite intrigued by the duality structure in Once Upon a Time.

To have Rumplestiltskin correspond to a pawn broker named Mr Galt icon_lol.gif in our world I thought a great irony. Meanwhile i do find myself watching background characters and trying to figure out which storybook character they are.

The presence of the real world Red Riding Hood as the stepsister to real world Cinderella implies Grandma is in town , as is the big Bad Wolf.

The mother of the protagonist as the real world mayor being the storybook wicked queen....

Grumpy (one of the dwarves was in last episode) in the story world. so he has a corresponding personin the town of Storybrooke

The possibilities are endless when we interweave all the characters from the fairy tale canon.

A bakery or a candy shop for Hansel & Gretel...

The protagonist's friend Emma (who had the unique ability to leave Storybrooke without harm and return just lost that ability by making a deal with Rumplestiltskin to give up his claim to Cinnderella's child.

in the real world that is reflected by the freespirited Emma taking a job as Sherrif's Deputy - who was just revealed to be having a love affair with the mayor.
Anyone else getting into this series?

Grimm seems bit more predictable and holds my attention much less. We do not talk about it and speculate during commercials what will happen like we do with Once Upon a Time.

While I'm not into Once Upon A Time, it's annoying bad with their compositing and I can't watch it cause I'm into Computer Graphics and what not haha, my boyfriend loves it.

He works at the talent agency where they represent the guy who plays Rumplestiltskin and he just said they casted someone to play "Belle" so you can look forward to a Beauty and the Beast section.

I was annoyed by how weak and insignificant they made Maleficant out to be, lets face it she of easily bested the evil queen and that fight scene annoyed the shit out of me. Oh yea and she had blonde hair? whats up with that?
Other than that I am really enjoying the series, much better than Grimm. Grimm is losing my interest quickly whereas Once upon a time is roping me in each week.

Grimm is like a broker version of Supernatural. It's pissed me off numerous times.

I'm trying to stick with GRIMM, it has an interesting premise, but they need to lose the police angle I think. I really saw a little bit of Buffy in the pilot and that made it interesting. IMHO, it can't stack up to Supernatural which is supreme to it in every way. I love Supernatural and it cracks me up and disgusts me at the same time!

GRIMM has to step it up and I'm hoping with the introduction of this BIG BAD that they mentioned in Friday's episode, It'll give it a jolt. If not, FRINGE and SUPERNATURAL are going to rip it to shreds!

I hate ABC for canceling All MY Children, and I was trying to boycott them, but Once Upon a Time is reeling me in. I love Regina the evil queen! WORK BITCH!!! lol!! I love how they wind the back story into the present. There is so much they could do with the realm of fairytales, I hope they don't mess it up.
