A lot of guys have used the same words to describe their city's gays....bitchy, vain, etc. etc. WHY? Why is it such a widespread, common thing? What does that say about your attitude about being gay? How are you different? And most importantly, what does that say about being happy? Doesn't this imply that there are a lot of unhappy guys out there?

And by the way..is there some college or instruction manual that has been distributed around the world to gay men that teaches them how to WALK, TALK and ACT like that? The same characteristics are everywhere.

What it is, I believe, is just a stereotype. The only thing you see growing up of gay men is the flaming, bitchy, vein, shallow, BOYS who never can do anyhting but talk about cloths and pop culture. It is all you see when you are young. So for kids when they are growing up that is all they know of what it is to be a gay man. They feel like they dont fit in when they are in the closet and when they finally come out of the closet all they want to do is fit in. So they act like the people that they want to be with, act all like the stereotype because that is all they know. Because when you come out and you want to meet other gay guys what do you do? The only places that kids or straight people know about are the gay areas (West Hollywood etc.) and so these kids go there, and they think wow this is how I am supposed to be, and they get sucked into this horrible cycle. well at least that is what I believe. I could be wrong. It could all stem from the lack of no positive gay role models in society, or not. I am not sure. I dont know of anyone who acts like a "gay from the city" who has had a good gay role model in their lives. So I am not sure.... but that is my idea.

I'd love someone to prove me wrong... or right lol

My friends call me the gay consultant....but the disclaimer is that they shouldn't take my advice on anything truly gay.

Just remember Kylie Minogue is apparently still releasing new music...it didn't end with "The Locomotion."

I would have come closer to passing had I known that.
