    I think that the only way we can really reduce the poverty level, over the long term, is to create the best school system in the World as well as invest more in trying to keep a few steps ahead, technology wise than the rest of the World. It will be the only way we can compete. We need to look at Germany as an example.

    Well-managed programs can provide support and a path to get off of welfare as my mother and countless other single-parents have done and raised two additional tax paying citizens. I suspect that we have long since paid back the assistance we received and then some. And that's how it should be.

    There is no "enslaved" people and you diminish the meaning of that word - as you did with genocide - when you use it to recklessly.

    You seem to have lost sight of priorities, nobody wants to be poor. And as Christian said, you use enslavement too lightly.
