    I think this guy did a really good job explaining the short comings of "our parents generation" as he says. It is sad all the cover-ups from the generation before mine.

    Only problem, though, is that JoePa is his grand-parents' generation.
    The generation the author says built-up America the great.

    I think there is more than enough blame to go around.
    It's not just the baby boomer generation.
    [I'm guessing his parents were born in the 1950s]

    We've gotten lazy (and fat).
    Not only do we have hundreds of channels on TV, we don't even have to get up to change the channel.
    We don't cook but expect to be served - ordering out if not eating out frequently.
    If we even bother to mow our lawns or shovel snow, we have riding mowers and snow-blowers.
    We exhibit hedonism, if only in valuing above all others the people who entertain us.
