So Thanksgiving is coming next week and not too sure about my plans. I was talking to the guy I been seeing every week and he told me he's working over the holiday as co-workers called that day. I understand it's an international tech thing that has him doing weird hours sometimes. I will try and find out exactly more this week from him to see if there will be some time to do anything.

I'm really considering just taking my new passport and high tailing it to Canada and just avoiding the whole thing as I wanted to go this month anyway.

I planned to visit family in Texas for Christmas, so I don't want to double do it to that area when I have to turn right back around 2 weeks later. And I don't even want to do that.

I know a couple of other people here but not sure I want to spend the holiday with. They are friends who I'm still on the fence as to whether I want to continue friendship with them. I'd hate to hang with them for the holiday and then just ditch them afterwards.

So I have no friggin idea. Every year I've had something going on: memorable ones included 2 Thanksgivings on South Beach. Don't have to worry about gaining weight when you'll just throw it all up later that night (not that I ever did LOL)

Do something different, go to Canada. Holidays don't always have to be so traditional.

LOL, right. But...it's hard to say that though when you're by yourself and know this is the 1 time during the year that you're most obligated to be with family.
