I don't know if they're any Justice fans out there...but their newest album Audio, Video, Disco just dropped a few weeks ago. I didn't think they could top their first album, Cross (+), but it's a GREAT workout album and an even better dance album. reminds me a lot of Daft Punk...and sometimes reminiscent of Ratatat.

    here's the big single

and this song's got me hooked. beginning's kinda got some AC/DC feel, no?

    anyone diggin' this??

    Hell yeah, boy!

I only have Cross, but I absolutely love that album. Are there any other albums worth getting? ...Should I just get the whole discography?

The new album is good, but I had higher expectations. Some songs are sick, some songs are meh.

I can't wait for them to tour North America. icon_biggrin.gif

Civilization and New Lands are great, Audio Video Disco is horrible, haven't heard the full album but from what I've heard it's been really hit or miss. The hits are great though, definitely classic rock edge to this album. Really hoping they bring their new live show to Coachella this year.

I'm glad this was posted. It's hard to keep track of who comes out with what and when sometimes. Anyway, Cross was on repeat for a very long time so I'm excited about this new album icon_biggrin.gif

Cross was their first album, and this one's one hell of a second!

My bad. I was looking at a discography and apparently there's another band named Justice, so the website just merged the two discographies together. icon_mad.gif

I should've looked at the genre: hardcore/death metal.
    hahahaha

Although there's another album listed here called 839 that's listed as electronic, but I'm not sure where that came from. It doesn't appear to be either of the other two groups called Justice.

Justice is bordering on legendary in my books.

    Their first album was awesome!
But their "Audio, Video, Disco" single was kinda so-so though, which threw me off. I just have to get around to listening to the rest of their newest album and I'll be back to worshiping the "cross".

Dude, u must b kidding. Cross was sooo fucking good. And audio video disco sucks. I listened to it once and could barely stand it.

Either way I suggest u all get their live cd a cross the universe. It is easily their best cd.

Btw phantom pt. II is my fav song : )

venue35 saidI have the first album but I think they ripped Daft Punk off. But in pop music nothing is original. There is a DVD documentary that I have about them. I liked them alot more after watching it.

Justice are French, they are at Ed Banger's records (the same disc label than Daft Punk), they have the same manager (Busy P), they are openly influenced by them and used Daft Punk's music for some of their remixes, they mix old rock with electro to create awesome music, and they probably preach Daft Punk all over the world.

So you cannot really say they're a Daft Punk rippoff. More like an hommage or a second coming.

oooooo second coming I like that better. it sounds kinda religious! it's like the spirit of Daft Punk has returned to earth and makes its beginning in Justice's "Genesis"!

I think their live album (A Cross The Universe) is also a must-have. The remixes are s.i.c.k.
