I'm thinking about starting this in December. Anyone have experience with it? It will be hard to part with carbs, but I'm interested in trying it. The paleo diet is also in consideration icon_razz.gif

I've tried paleo and needed like 4 plates of vegetables and meat to satisfy myself and it's hard for me to stick with it. It's up to you, man. I know members that could stick with it no problem.

I'm on the paleo diet and i love it. I've been gaining good weight since Feburary. Only prob is that much meat is probably increasing my cholesterol levels. Ketosis is tough. Real tough. I've tried that and you've got get under 100g of carbs per day. You need carbs for your brain to function, so it left me pretty slow a lot and I just couldn't stick with it.

Yeah, it sounds like it takes the body a few weeks to switch to ketogenesis. That's why I"m thinking of starting it when I have a few weeks off from school.
