80 May Be the New 65 for Retirement Age

    Welcome to your brave new (republican) world.

    Wells Fargo VP says that people will need to work until age 80 before they can afford to retire. Lack of pensions, bad economy, lousy returns on investments, etc. are taking their toll. Not mentioned in this article is that oldsters not leaving the job market....means that recent graduates can't replace them.

    one of the many reasons i have "stuck it out" with my federal civil service job is it's excellent retirement benefits..

    my minimum retirement age is 56.

    GOP Presidential candidate Newt Gingrich is having a hard time explaining the payments and Big Bucks that he and his law firm received from "the players and institutions involved in the housing bubble that was one of the primary causes of the recession"....
