I hope they don't re-release My Heart Will Go On in conjunction with the movie. 15 years later and I'm still tired of that song.

venue35 saidI really don't see the point of releasing this movie after 14 years in 3-d.
    Oh now I do.
    MONEY.

    OH YOU'RE SO COOL!!!

Guess the 100 year anniversary of the Titanic Voyage has nothing to do with it icon_rolleyes.gif. Plus with the current digital technology in theaters(DTS, SDSS, Digital Projectors, 3D, IMAX 3D) films have never looked and sounded better and we're talking about one of the most powerfully visceral films ever made. The visuals and sound in Titanic are incredible and to be able to see that digitally projected in IMAX 3D(with a new remaster/restoration) I'd fucking pay for that.

I've never seen the movie, I was too young when it came out. This may be a opportunity for a new generation to experience a great movie like this. Anyone who has criticism for it's re-release should simply not see it. Just saying..

I could watch it again in theaters. Although I think I'd prefer 2D.

I like how you attempted to refute his point by concluding that you would pay for this.

I guess that means you win icon_rolleyes.gif except I never said money money wasn't one of the reasons they were re-releasing this film. I was giving some reasons why they were re-releasing it(100 year anniversary, new master, improved presentation, higher quality projection technology, IMAX presentation, 3D, etc.). Maybe I should've wrote "MONEY is also a reason" just for you.

Just thought I'd share something for people who enjoyed the score in the film. I'm an audio engineer and I did some editing on the CD soundtrack to better match the presentation in the film. I'd Just like to share those projects.

venue35 saidI'm not trying to be cool. Titanic was an amazing achievement visually and technically. It was the script and the acting that were kind of shitty.

Welcome to every James Cameron movie ever.

Wow, even I was very much absorbed by this movie.

I even brought a friggin model of it! LOL Hell I even built Titanic out of lego!! The best feature about it was that it can separate turn into the wreck version of it!

    I was a dork.

Oh and the last scene music is one of my fav haunting music...

I'll probably see it again. I thought it was a great movie. I like when Kate looks over his drawings, when he draws her and the camera moves into her eye (to reveal her older self), and love me my Kathy Bates. icon_wink.gif

I will most definitely watch it! Second epic James Cameron 3D film. Well, technically his first. But I never caught it on the big screen, so this should be something different icon_smile.gif It was soooo sad I nearly teared. Maybe I did.
