Stressing and loosing weight

I got into a physical therapist assistant program 13 weeks ago and I am truely happy that I got in. Yesterday in lab I mentioned that I had lost 12 pounds since starting the program. Everyone thought I was crazy because they have all gained about 10 pounds since starting.
THe reason I said all that was because when I stress out I don't eat and always tend to lose weight quickly.
Examples: my last two months of high school I lost 35 pounds because of stressing about not getting into colleges. My last semester while working on my BS I lost 25 pounds because of stressing out over finding a job. And now I have lost the 12 because of stressing out over everything with this program.

My question is whether anyone else looses weight while being stressed? Or are most of you stress eaters and gain some during stressful times?

I'll start by saying, I eat all the time, I mean a lot. I graze all day eating fruits and vegetables with main meals of protein. But when I'm stressed I deffinitely lose weight even though my eating habits are consistent. I don't lose huge amounts, just 3-5 lbs- but when you're only 152ish lbs, you notice!

Trollileo saidIt's easier for me to gain weight when stressed, because I use food to find a temporary euphoria. Not the case right now, though. Now I just break out really bad. People actually think I have oral herpes, because my facial acne is so bad.

I used to eat like a fool when stressed. I think I've become so blah about eatting shitting food that now when I see something gross Im like.. hell no! So I've been eatting less now. I've been having mad headaces, dizzy spells, and this damn twich on my lip that comes and goes.... I'm like WTH?! I keep breaking out with acne on my scalp and I'm over it! I hope once the semester is over It will get better. I really want to start running again! I need to just no time!

I tend to gain weight when stressed. I think partly it's just because that's how my body works. I think it's also partly because I eat worse because I'm grabbing whatever is convenient rather than eating healthier.

I'm like the OP. When I get stressed, I totally loose my appetite. I don't want to get anywhere near food during times like that.
