Here's a song I remember getting over someone with...because they were a liar and cheater, etc. Have you ever heard this? Miss Ross:

As much as I love Adele and I think is amazing all the songs, as well as the person itself, I hate to imagine the lyrics to "Someone Like You".

Not that the music is not incredibly beautiful, but because I do not believe that when anyone left a relationship and suffers a lot, want to find someone else, in the new person, someone like "him". This don´t makes sense at all. Why u'll want someone exactly who u r not with anymore? icon_neutral.gif

    Hey Dangow,

This is such a good observation.
Although considering the words 'like him', it really is different from 'the same as him'. icon_wink.gif

Yeah, you and Adele have your point. Hahaha. But I still don´t get it. I mean, I get it, but it is still weird to want someone like the "old someone" that hurts you so much. U don´t need two times the same kind of person.

But of course I can understand that our heart want someone like the one we loved before.. icon_neutral.gif

I saw it as you loved him and are looking for someone like him in that sense. Not the same guy, but eventually someone to love again.

God damn this thread. I just cried a bit, which I hate.
Ended a relationship yesterday. Guess it just kind of hit me finally. It's all good, needed to move on.

I hope with all my heart that everybody get well soon. It's kind of cliche to say this, though it is most true. Everything heals with time. There is NOTHING that does not heal when it comes to heart. So patience. Everything will work out. And we all have to go through this a few times in life to get better acquainted and strengthen. icon_sad.gif

Anything you need, just say. Stay well.
