Maybe they SHOULD let the kids get really fat and die of heart problems before they even graduate. Maybe doing that will weed out the future laziness that would be even more abundant if the fat kids are forced to be healthier.

Idiots? Not all are complete idiots. They are just easily bought by $ from lobbyists. If you have met a congressman, you have met a crook.

sadly, i think if we ate legit pizza the way it is made in Italy it might very well be healthy for kids. Unfortunately, just like any other foreign cuisine that is brought back here, we have to put our own spin on it which usually involves tons of calories and fat. Don't get me wrong, I am a pizza WHORE, but a vegetable Dominos is not.

It's so sad to see things like this. Hasn't our society noticed the popping buttons, the expanding waistlines, and the major reliance on pharmacological care because of decisions like this? I went to buy a belt the other day and I will tell you that I was hard pressed to find one in my size. Every belt was 25-50% longer than I needed. To me that means that the average person is about 2 of me. That's crazy!

This isn't about weight issues. This is about lobbyists and how the American government is big business' bitch.

If you make pizza properly, its is indeed alot of veggies... just lay low on the oil, make the crust thin, and dont overdo the cheese

I don't think this is new. The argument is about the tomato paste being a vegetable.

My boss who's originally from Maine told me that 25 years when he was in school they designated those little single-serving packets of ketchup as vegetables, so they could put hot dogs on the school lunch menu and satisfy the "two servings" requirement.

oh gods i love legit pizza, the way you're SUPPOSED to make it. Not how americans have bastardized it (don't get me wrong, i secretly love my Dominos hand-tossed pepperoni onions mushrooms)

Dominos is not pizza. Here's some Chicago-style pizza for you:
