edit: Dogs are loyal. So not a great way to describe some men...

See, you give a guy 1 inch and they want to take the whole friggin mile.

Guy I dated earlier this year; he had some issues. Well couple months ago we met up again at the bar and started hanging out a bit...but no sex. Just seeing each other at the bar. Then tonight we made plans to hang out.

This mother fucker, we're dancing most of the night 1 on 1 and having drinks. At the end of the night some guy that apparently he knew (and gave the googly eyes to) invited us to go back to his place. Well, he decides to dip off and pretend his phone is messing up when we're heading there. Then I get no responses.

Honestly, I'm not mad or jealous (afterall I'm dating someone who looks and treats me better than him any DAYum way). But I'm more angry at myself for 1 giving him a second chance and 2 it's why lately and even tonight I had a nagging feeling to not go out to the club tonight. Something (probably God) told me to just cancel on him and stay in tonight.

I can't keep dealing with the dogs that frequent bars. My new year's resolution: No bar going in 2012. In addition, let go of any and everyone who frequents them because they're probably a dog. Even one of my best tranny girlfriends, I haven't been in the mood to hang with her because her only source of entertainment seems to be the bar and I don't want to continually be sucked into the black hole which is their 'world'.

BTW, bars in Denver suck. Music sucks, people sucks...it sucks sucks sucks.

What is the common denominator with all of these stories, which you seem to be full of, about the world being horrible?

It's like you find a way to scare away everyone you come in contact with... You tell us this EVERY DAMNED DAY.

I went to the Beauty Bar Down and Derby last night at the Exdo center. SO much fun and SO much better than a typical bar night. More straights than gays. And you can't be wasted and roller skate (very well) so all the tragic fags stayed far away. Meanwhile, my friends and I had the time of our life roller skating to 70s music. A derby girl taught me how to do a kick turn! WOO! My suggestion if you want to go out, don't go to the typical spots for the Denver gays. Expand out to the special events going on. Much more diverse and nicer group.

I wished it was a canine appreciation thread, but should have known coming from Mr Mocha before even clicking on it.

Yep, go ahead. Rub it all in my face icon_lol.gif I always hear about these things but very few actually send out invitations to do them. I heard nothing about said event at the Exdo.

Being that I'm still fairly new to the area and don't have a plethora friends to give me round the clock updates on happening events, I generally don't even find out about them until AFTER the fact. It's like people will say, "I'm going here, here and here...and see you at the bar later."

Guy I been dating has done a good job keeping me busy every week doing things together and what not. But I sort of forgot just how ridiculous some of these people are out here.

Regardless of whether I talk about these things or not, they still happen; contrary to what PenisTier thinks. Since I've been dating though, it hasn't bothered me as much, but I still need a life outside of him because he works weekends.

Just like Lucian said to Victor in The Underworld before he shoved his sword down his throat, "you should have"...
