I have seen the previews for Jack and Jill, and saw that it made 25 million its first weekend.

My favorite scene of his has to be the one with Bob Barker in Happy Gilmore. The rest of his work has been, blah. My friends think that he is hilarious.

I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry...well, the best part was seeing Jessica Biel's awesome body in her underwear. I didn't know she had a butt like that.

What do you think? Is he funny? Have you seen Jack and Jill?

I did not enjoy most of his movies. They are like Austin Powers, but stupider and cruder. I like Chuck and Larry, but it was because of the other guy.
    I did like Waterboy.

Adam Sandler is one of those comedians/comedy actors that when he does well, he does very well and when he fails, he fails miserably.

Happy Gilmore and The Wedding Singer are really the only two movies I like. Mr Deeds was pretty tolerable. And he was pretty funny when he was on SNL. But everything else.. meh. Chuck and Larry was pretty awful. I really wasn't sure if that movie was smashing gay stereotypes or reinforcing them. It seemed like both.

I laugh when I see how much his most ridiculous movies make. I'm sure he does, too.

I don't find him funny at all to be honest. Then again I don't really find most humor funny, as I don't have very much a sense of humor. I am a rather serious person when it comes right down to it.

hes slowly declining in talent, and i think its because of the age.

happy gilmore, big daddy and billy madison have to be amongst his 3 best movies but anything after click just started becoming repetitive and annoying.......its not funny anymore watching someone his age make the same immature jokes over and over again...........it was funny for a bit but he kinda needs to grow up a little imho

Adam Sandler hasn't been funny for a long, long time. Like others have said, Happy Gilmore and The Wedding Singer were good. Those are definitely my favorite flicks of his. But I think using the same old comedic formula year after year is no longer working. His humor has never done much for me anyway.

Will Ferrell and Jim Carrey have long been in that same position too.

Adam Sandler is not funny. He hasn't been funny for a long time. I can't remember when I last thought he was funny. I don't know how he keeps making movies.

I've never found him to be funny, but humor is very subjective. To each his own.

Agreed...The 10 year old trapped inside a 45 year old man's body characters are getting kind of tired.

I think he is funny in some of his movies but others I think he is just stupid. But I do think Jack and Jill looks funny.

I think he was funny on SNL... the Turkey song and whatnot. But anything else, I don't really find funny at all. Same goes for Will Ferrel and all the movies he made after SNL.

He has his moments but I find his brand of comedy bizarre. Don't Mess With the Zohan was... strange.

Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston were hilarious in the movie "Just Go With It" -- it's definitely one of my top 10 all-time comedy favorites icon_lol.gif While Sandler was good in this movie, Jennifer Aniston was awesome and so funny icon_cool.gif

They can only play one part and people are tired of it. It's overdone and not funny anymore.

I enjoyed him in Punch Drunk Love but he wasn't trying to be funny.
