Okay, I'm very bored so thought I'd start a pointless topic. This will be a pretty shallow thread, but to be honest I think everyone on here is concerned with looks so, yeah...

Which is more important to you guys, the face or the body?

Personally I think a great body's awesome, and really turns me on, but it's important for them to look attractive before you're ripping their top off xD How about you guys?

The face is more important that the body to me, but to a certain limit.

I mean, if he has a goooorgeous face, but he doesn't take care AT ALL about himself and his health, it won't work.

At the same time, if he's over-ripped but has a buttface, it won't work either.

    Balance is important. He'd need a crazy-handsome-face with a greek-god-body, simply. icon_twisted.gif

a nice looking guy always turns my head. if he has a killer butt, that's like the the au jus on a perfectly cooked steak (or the butter on the lobster, if you prefer).

I like most faces, so BODY.

Do a forum search for "face and body" and you'll see that this same topic has been discussed ad nauseum on at least several different similarly named threads.

How are YOU going to build it? Obviously if that person doesn't care about his body what makes you think he will change?

Body easily. A guy with a mediocre face could look hot with a great body. A guy with a great face wouldn't look hot if he looked like a rail or if he was severely overweight. The guy in this picture is a classical example of this. Look at how much better he looked when he had a muscular body:

Face. The body can be changed easily, but the face not as much unless they go under the knife.

Face. It's simply a more important factor. With body there are more types that I will end up going for, and it can be improved upon with some effort. While I am REALLY attracted to bodybuilder physiques more then any other build, if it's not attached to a good face then I am not nearly as attracted.

That being said, you have to have both.

To those saying face is a given and can't be changed - I believe otherwise (and I don't at all mean in a clinic).

Even a least attractive visage can turn lovely if the person is good-natured. The face is a reflection of your inner self, and a good personality is always expressed on your face. Whether it is a warming smile or unassuming eyes, expressions of deep, loving character can quickly erase otherwise not aesthetically appealing features.

The opposite is true as well - the most gorgeous of them all, if superficial, arrogant or simply stupid, in my opinion, is uglier than any ugly good-hearted person.

Face is much more than physical lines and colours. The kind of person you are is written in bold on your forehead.

Oh, boy. He's not a classic example of "better looking when you were muscular", he's a classic example of manorexia.

Jeremy Gillitzer used to be RJ member, he went through a lot and died of his disease on june 1 2010.

He also had a blog, in which he described his struggle with bulimia and anorexia (http://jeremygillitzer.blogspot.com/).

His disease was probably the result of the pressure that comes out of such judgement as yours ("A mediocre face is hot with a great body" / "Look like a rail" / "Severely overwheight") and I don't think it's quite inappropriate to take him as an example to support what probably killed him.

Please, change your mind, it's fucked.

Stop being so sensitive and accept reality. I wasn't in any way, shape, or form criticizing the guy. I was simply using an extreme example to prove a point. I said that he looked better when he was more muscular and I'm sure everyone on here would agree with that. Is that a shallow way of thinking? Maybe. I could tell you that most people don't find anorexic guys and people who are severely overweight attractive though. I'm not trying to offend you or anyone else on here. I'm just telling you how it is. You even said "doesn't take care AT ALL about himself and his health, it won't work" so I'm not sure how your opinion differs than my opinion.

Accept reality ? Are you fucking kidding me ? People are letting themselves fade away into death because they've got computer-generated perfect bodies pushed down the throat for their lifetime and you're telling me that it's a reality that we should just accept ?

Man, there's a HUMONGOUS difference between someone who doesn't care about his appearance and someone who cares enough to die from it. Hence, you can be sure that my opinion TOTALLY differs from yours.

Bodybuilder or at least VERY musc.icon_biggrin.gif
Since I was a little kid, have always been attracted to muscle.
Have had the privilege of dating 2 comp. Bbers. NOTHING compares! icon_exclaim.gif
Face or "package" size has never played into the equation for me.
    Just muscle! icon_wink.gif

Yeah it is a reality that we have to accept. Some people have mental disorders and end up dying from them. Is it sad that a person suffered from anorexia and ended up dying from it? Yeah. Does that mean every person you talk to is going to develop an eating disorder from constructive criticism? No. I've been called skinny several times and I agreed with the criticism. As a result of that, I'm eating more and starting to go to the gym now. I'm not going to go on an eating binge and slit my wrists over a person calling me skinny. In your post you also mentioned health and there's nothing healthy about being overweight or anorexic.
