Hey, I have been wondering if hair color was a criteria for lot of people. As a blond (even before my bleaching lol), I felt this hair color makes people think I am younger. Most of the stereotypes say that blonds are supposed to be maternal and naive; brunette, smart and sexy; red, sensual and quirky.

Do those stereotypes apply to your beauty criteria?

Here's an interesting read about the blonds and their assets. Chapter 11. I'm glad I could help icon_biggrin.gif

I have dark brown/black hair but with plenty of "blond" moments.

Without even reading the 2nd sentence, I could already tell you're a natural blond, because that's something only a blond would ponder. icon_lol.gif

Ever since all the balding guys got shaved heads to look in fashion, I was kind of hoping someone would start to market silver and grey on young guys. When you go to your stylist, just ask for The Cooper.

This serves a number of functions. 1) I won't feel like I went grey early 2) I won't have to look at guys my age with shoe polish on their heads.

Also, I had the hots for this guy in college who had prematurely greyed and I've never gotten over that fantasy.

Then there was the time in Hollywood, walking my dog near Young's circle in the early days of its gentrification. A lesbian couple asked if he was an old dog. He had a few greys and I was greying about the temples then too. I said, no, we're just prematurely grey. She said "Oh, don't worry about it; we're both prematurely fat."

As for stereotypes and hair color, I've got just the one: that only girls care about hair color.

You know, I'm really tempted to dye my hair grey.......not to be attractive but just because I think it would look cool.

With a face like yours, who cares what color your hair is? icon_twisted.gif

Dark hair catches my eye faster than light, but I think hair color is only a minor factor in whether I find a guy attractive. My only problem with bleaching or coloring (which can look great if the skin tone isn't too off) is that I think it looks like shit if I see roots of a different color. I just instantly expect the guy (or girl) to be wearing a t-shirt that says, "I slapped my girlfriend on Jerry Springer"

Didn't you just have a thread about your blonde hair a few days ago?

I am getting to know this place and you all too well and it is starting to scare me.
