Hey all, heading to the Dallas area for Thanksgiving with boyfriend.
As part of our mutual evolution I've agreed to at least own clothes that can be worn in good and or fashionable company. While working on a grad student budget mind you. icon_smile.gif

Are there any good outlets, etc. in the Dallas area that we might hit up while we're there? (I actually grew up in the area, but I have so little grasp on this area of life that I have no idea myself.)

    Many thanks! icon_smile.gif

If you're up for a trip to the burbs, there are some good outlets in Allen (about 25 minutes north of the city). There is also some good shopping around NorthPark Center.

    Shopping, fashion, and Dallas.

The only thing I can say to this is God speed, and hope you make it out alive...

Can't stand any of the three....

Anything Express is good and go from Day to Night. Honestly though you can find some great stuff at TJ Max, Marshalls and Ross too. Just depends if you want to go through the trouble of the hunt. I've found some great stuff out there actually.

I usually only wear jerseys, tshirts, tennis shoes or boots. If I need anything beyond that which Walmart or Target might carry, I head to Allen Outlet (kicking and screaming). Decent stuff at decent prices. Will be busy as hell over thanksgiving tho!

I was in Dallas a couple of years ago. I went to the Grapevine Mills mall. Most of the stores are outlet versions of bit stores. I did a lot of shopping there.

    It was really nice.

Plus, you can eat at Rainforest Cafe' which was fun - if you live in a small town that doesn't have things like that - like I do...

    Thanks all.
    That was helpful.
A trip to Allen and Grapvine Mall looks to be called for, but will look into the other options too icon_smile.gif

Now to decide whether to brave "black friday" (I never have felt so incline before, but maybe... icon_smile.gif )
