I need new clothes. Getting into shape is expensive. What do you think is the most comfortable brand of jeans? I don't care much about fashion. I'm looking for something to lounge around the house in.

(It seems odd that there is no clothing section in a gay forum.)

The most comfortable pair of jeans? Any pair that you've already broken into. In my case, the most comfortable pair is also my oldest pair, haha. They're from Old Navy.

I like the Abercrombie skinny jeans. For some reason, it's very comfortable. Try it before you judge it icon_cool.gif

Lately I like Gap's line of 1969 jeans, especially styles without "whiskers". They have some nice dark washes. The super skinny ones fit me well. They are a nice pair of jeans for every day use and not looking like you're going to the club (i.e Rock & Republic, TR, etc.). I think I picked up a pair on sale for something like 20 bucks.

True Religion has to make the most comfortable pair of jeans ever.

True Religion does make really good jeans. If you wanna go a little cheaper and still look good, I'd say H&M. Thats' my favorite store. icon_smile.gif

True Religions are NOT comfortable, most of them are rigid, heavy, and not to mention horrendous looking, add an affliction t-shirt and you are officialy a douche bag.

Check out 7 For All Mankind, and Adriano Golschmied - but honestly it's all about 7's, my slimmy's in Nakita are the most comfortable jeans ever, like wearing sweatpants.

I hate button fly. At a public urinal I always look like a fool playing with himself because I am standing there for so long struggling to button up.

    WTF!?!
Wow...you truly sound like the douche bag here.
True Religions may not be comfortable to YOU, but they are to those of us who really like them. Get the fuck over YOURSELF!

To the OP, I actually find TRUE RELIGION'S N2 Vintage and also plain old Levi's super comfortable.

Lol, I don't give a fuck if I sound like a douche bag if it will keep the OP from dressing like one

It's not that they aren't comfortable "to me" - they just aren't comfortable. Their fits are shitty (always loose, run two sizes too large), their washes are tacky, and the bright contrasting stitching pretty much makes them the ugliest jeans, ever.

If you think this look is flattering. . .well, yikes!

@OP You also can't go wrong with Diesel, or if you are looking for something not so pricey you could check out Commune's or Howe's.

Unfortunately, you just have to try them on, it's so body specific. I have skinny legs and a small ass, and many jeans just slide off of their own accord. For me, Levis skinny and skinny-sh jeans fit really well and are reasonably priced, but they are pretty cheaply made and don't last. Seven for all Mankinds are ok but always a bit baggy. My most recent good find was a brand called Scotch & Soda, which fit awesomely - but were sized completely incorrectly. Jeans are always sized smaller than you really are at the waist - and I usually wear a 32 or, when I'm in especially good shape, a 31. In these, I wear a 30. Weird - and it just goes to show, get thee out to a place with lots of good denims and just try them on.

The important thing is to avoid (1) anything with pocket flaps, and (2) as 7Farmark said, anything else with so much stitching on the ass that it makes you look like a complete douche. icon_razz.gif

I wear jeans made from light-weight denim and find them super comfy. CK is the only brand that sells them with any regularity, to my knowledge. Their back-pockets are also nicely understated, as opposed to some "IN"- brands that make you look like a peacock, see pic above

For pure comfort and style, I only wear 2 types of denim:
Diesel - Darrons and Keevers are what fit me best. Slim fit, but not emo skinny.
Naked & Famous - I wear Weird Guy in this, which is a a slim straight leg. Naked & Famous is raw denim so the material is SUPER tough and thick like cardboard. They stretch and ton and after wearing these for 3-4 times they really break in to the point of being some of the most comfortable jeans ever. Raw denim is great if you can deal with the break in period. Plus they're relatively inexpensive at about $125 a pop.

Someone hear mentioned Adriano Goldschmied. Their denim is nice, but I've never found a pair to fit well. Oddly enough AG Jeans was founded by one of the original founders of Diesel, so you would think that their denim would be equally as good.

I just started breaking in my N&F's but my Nudies are the most comfortable fucking jeans ever! I was hesitant to recommend raw denim because they are initially rigid and uncomfortable.

Carthartt jeans are straightforward, no nonsense, comfortable, and last forever.

Here's their website, but you can find them at some hardware stores cheaper.

Nudies are great too! Forgot to mention A.P.C. for raw denim as well. Petite Standard and Standard are great cuts.

I seriously have a denim fetish and you my friend have great taste. I too hate True Religion for the exact same reasons that you mentioned earlier in this thread. I've never seen a pair I liked!

PS, you're in Centreville. Go to the Barneys outlet at the Leesburg outlet mall, they have lots of great jeans. Or if you're in town, got to Universal Gear on 14th Street.

Carhartt is funny. We buy Carhartt stuff at Tractor Supply for work on the farm. But there's also a Carhartt store in NYC. Apparently some other company licenses the name for use on high-end stuff. So, two types of clothes with the same name and logo - and no relationship.
