I'm going live in about an hour, at 6:40 am EST, in case anyone is up and wants to watch... I'm sure it will be online later in the day, though, so I'll post the link. Who gets up this early on a holiday?? icon_rolleyes.gif

Remember: Picture everyone watching and judging you and noticing the small mistakes you might make. Just keep repeating this: "They expect me to have perfect diction and instantaneous responses that are both witty and informative." And it will be no sweat! icon_biggrin.gif

Or was it "Picture everyone in their underwear"?

    Go getum icon_biggrin.gif

Hahaha... The funny thing is, I am a lot more outgoing when I'm on camera, or at a podium, than I am "in private." On camera I'm all like icon_cool.gif but then if you talk to me afterwards on the street I'm all like icon_redface.gif.

I'm a journalist, working on a book about what it means to be an American in the 21st Century. I've set out to meet people from across the country and hear their thoughts and stories. I'm walking from NYC, where I live, to LA. I'm in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, now. I've walked about 1,200 miles, and have about 2,500 to go.

CNN was there the day I started in NY (July 4th), and I go back on to give them updates on the early morning show more or less every six weeks.

More at www.cddny.com. Feel free to also check out Facebook, for pictures of the ten states I've visited so far.

Bravo, Constantino. I'm impressed you can talk about such profound things so early in the morning. My brain hardly functions before 10am on any given day.

Besides this whole thing about what it means to be an immigrant in America, you're doing a hell of a job to reconnect people of the North and South.
