Allow me to introduce you, gentlemen, to my great-great-great-grandfather. He's the one on the left. His beard wife, my great-great-great-grandmother, is on the right. Now look at him, and tell me... Is this not the man who bequeathed me the gay gene? icon_lol.gif

hahaha... good point. Here's a picture of that lady (the one on the right) some 30 years after that miniature was made. This much I know... I did not get the good-looking genes from her. icon_eek.gificon_redface.gif

You might have gotten the gay genes from her...she looked pretty macho in that second pic. icon_lol.gif

Hard to say which one gave you the gay genes. Could have been both. icon_wink.gif

It does seem like most people in Black and White pics look like trannys.

Yeah, the second pic is labeled as being her, but to be honest... I have my doubts. It was taken in Paris in the mid 19th century... He could have gotten away with wearing her clothes, right?

I would also like to note that he sported this 'do well over 100 years before Princess Leia.

I reckon that the title "Don ..." and "Donna" in their names make you a descendant of nobility?

    If so, pretty dang cool.

You just inherited some goodlooking genes. Being gay happens during gestation. It's not genetic.

I must have missed the joke.

Anyhoo.........I have seen pictures of my ancestors with men that look....what would the word have been back then?......delicate? The women always look really tough and pissed off too. I don't have scans to show you though.

I don't think Barrie was joking, but I am... Meaning I don't really think this picture of my "delicate" ancestor proves anything other than that he, umm, liked to get dolled up. icon_biggrin.gif

Just to clarify, by "she" you mean the bio-girl, right? icon_lol.gif

Being gay, as with having high IQ, as with having a personality, as with EVERYTHING else deals with a balance of nature vs. nurture.

This debate, as well as this thread, is tired. Let it go.
