There are a couple of people from my past I'm dying to make contact with. But both of these people seem to be non-existent when I do a Google or Facebook search for them. Of course these websites pop up that want you to pay on an auto-renew agreement but I'm leery of them. Has anyone here had luck with people search, and if so how did you find them?

That really has nothing to do with a people search.

Oh, I think I mixed it up with normal internet stalking (since I do it so much). My bad!

I've used a couple of the sites to find people but haven't paid anything. Ive mostly used the sites to confirm that the people are still alive and what city they live in. Some sites will give you that general info for free and hope to entice you to pay to learn more. Once I have the basics then I can hone in my google searches. People with common names can be especially tricky.

If you have an idea where the person lives, see if the county assessor, clerk, or register of deeds provides information online, like this one from Clark County, Nevada. Want to find out where Celine Dion lives? You can find out here:
