I thought I would try to get in the holiday spirit. I know some of you don't like Christmas... but I know that some of you do..

I absolutely thrive on Chrismas songs. It's like I'm being slowly brainwashed into the Christmas mood everytime I heard it. I love it!

"Last Christmas" by Wham! and the Glee cover is good, too.

    "Feliz Navidad" by Jose Feliciano

"Christmas In Hollis" by Run DMC icon_smile.gif

Prob my favorite is "Please Come Home for Christmas" just because it's so wistful and hopeful at the same time. A few different artists have done this one, and I actually love the Jon Bon Jovi version.

quite good for a remake; but cannot compare to the 1960 original version by Charles Brown.

Thanks everyone. I love all these. I have a bit of a compulsion when it comes to Christmas music. I have already bought 3 new ones this year... icon_redface.gif

I am having trouble finding Holiday spirit, though at the moment. So, maybe this will perk me up!!!

I am going to post another one... or maybe two... icon_redface.gif

I know there aren't many gleeks out there, but Leah Michele kicks ass on this song...

Truly can't stand them. They seem, to me, like a tribute to human gullibility.

Luther Vandross has this beautiful song called Every year, Every Christmas. It is by far one of the most beautiful Christmas songs I have ever heard

Hm... just one? Its probably something that's never heard on commercial
radio stations or shopping centres, probably not even in English, for that
matter, and something likely only sung by real people at Christmas. Hm...

Les anges dans nos campagnes ?
Il est né le divin enfant ?
    Josef Haydn's Weinachtsoratorium ? The Creation ?
Stille Nacht, heillige Nacht ? or Mahalia Jackson's Silent Night ?

Meh. The Pogue's Lullaby of New York.
