This is entertaining. It's remarkable that there are those who continue to believe that this will have any substantive effect on politics in the US beyond negative ones to their political allies.
Christian73 saidIt is entertaining. And it proves two things that you'll never understand. First, we on the left can satirize ourselves, poke fun at the extremities or hypocrisies within our own movement while still working toward a more inclusive society. Two, the The Daily Show actually does a better job, even just within that piece, of analyzing the tensions inherent in a movement that includes relatively privileged people and people who are really at the bottom rungs of society, than Faux News has done despite endless days and hours of bashing OWS.
This is why the right-wing has never had a successful comedian. Comedy requires an outsider perspective and right-wingers all want to be the girl who rushed the best sorority.
