I'm thinking spinach and carrots. What are the best nutrition packed veggies with the mildest tastes?

beets work well when they're in season. certain tomatoes do too. a bit of avocado does a lot for creaminess. sweet peppers.

Wait... what? You don't want to taste it icon_confused.gif?
Now you've got me thinking about whipping up a spicy gazpacho for lunch... mmm.

Anyway, some ways to make vegetables bland:
    1) Buy them at "safeway" or the like.
    2) Fail to let your concoction "rest" before serving. Most cold vegetable puree-like stuff needs to chill for four hours or more to bring out the flavors.

Cooked butternut squash can add a bit of sweetness and a lot of body.

True, botanical vegetables or the government's definition of a vegetable?

No. Do not make smoothies out of pizza.

I am no smoothie expert, but some veggies become quite interesting when roasted. I'll bet roasted onions could be very good.

JakeGHK saidI think fruit overpowers any vegatable taste.

Yes, it does, though if you're using something peppery like arugula or dandelion greens that will come through. Also, a good blender makes all the difference. A cheap blender won't chop tough greens and carrots well enough.

You might not want to study it so much but there are a couple of books on Amazon by Victoria Boutenko, Green Smoothie Revolution .... , and Green for Life. Each is in the $10 - $11 price range. Both are good.
