wolverinecub86 saidI miss nola.
Tho it is nice to live where public transportation doesn't suck lol. Getting from uptown to downtown at night took forever on streetcars and the last one was at like 12 or something stupid like that.
Also nice to have my street not flood everytime it rains.
Still I miss living 2 blocks from snake n jakes "christmas lounge". $1.25 shlitzes are so awesome. And all the hipsters chilling at zots playing stratego or what have u.
Man I gotta head back and visit.
Dude......I live six blocks from Snake N' Jakes Christmas Club Lounge! We could have walked there together. I take both my dogs up there. They love getting petted by twenty different people. I miss Jake though. He kept knocking everyone's drinks over so he's not allowed to come there anymore. (Jake is a huge yellow tabby cat that always hangs out on the bar. You can tell if someone's a local or not because they see him coming down the bar out of the corner of their eye and automatically move their drink until he passes.)
I lived on Hillary st almost right across from snakes. Also had a house on burdette like 2 blocks away. And its a shame Jake isn't allowed in. I used to love how the heavy set bartender lady would tell Jake to motor boat. And the cat would come over and rub its face in her giant boobs.
Man I miss college....
Dude u must know Adams st. Po boys too. Same area and cheap ass food lol.
Also @ roadster yeah zots was cool I guess but I didn't go there as often as I should. Did hit up jaquamos (did I spell that right?) Tho and that's down the block
Btw if u can't pronounce tchoupitoulis street then u dunno nola lol.
