We should have one, I'm not too familiar with all the gay spots, but we should have it where its not too "sceney", so that everybody could feel comfortable icon_smile.gif
anybody have any suggestions as to where and when it should be in Los Angeles?

Ive got a single room in a townhouse apartment, paying about 500/m for rent not including cable and internet. Right next to my college too.

thats not bad. In Baltimore we can get something similar for around 350, so 500 could be done. I'm thinking of my post-college future and all that. Location location but price is trump.
Visiting LA as NOT a tourist is on my pre-30s list.

If you factor in the surrounding cities/towns/neighborhoods, LA is pretty big. Quality of living and rent prices varies a lot. So it's very possible to survive out here, depending on where you want to be and how much you're willing to drive to work/school.

Sorry, OP. You took my suggestion from the other thread and tried to make a meet up more focused on a specific area than just a large region of the state, but doesn't seem like this will go anywhere either. Socal RJ guys must just be flaky.

LA is a huge area. I live in the Greater Los Angeles area and that means if I go anywhere near LA it takes me over an hour to get anywhere, even without too much traffic.

There are non-gay places that might serve well as a spot to hang out, and therefore avoid too much of WeHo suggestions.

Pasadena is a pretty nifty town and has slightly more parking than LA itself.

I think we should have one, and I will definitely attend if we do have one.

I have only been out to gay bars a few times in my life, so I would not be the best person to pick, but when I went to the Abbey, I really enjoyed it. The outdoor area is a lot quieter, and you can actually talk to people.

Would be cool, but being under 21, it kinda sucks not being able to drink yknow? Also saturday the 10th, in beverly hills, Project Angel Food is having a charity event, which im taking part in, so it wont work icon_sad.gif

It of course depends on the area, but in general, I think that DC is more expensive.

I'm going to the motorcycle show in Long Beach this Saturday. If anyone wants to meet up there or after, I'm fine with it. We can meet at the Auld Dubliner for fish n chips and a pint. Or for the underage, we can meet at Yardhouse. Neither are gay spots, by the way.

Also, I'm a really boring guy. So think real hard before you say yes, and hope others will show up. icon_lol.gif

I dont go there. One of the owners donated to Yes on 8. It was only $100 but it still bothers me.

I suggest we bring it to Laguna Beach haha, cuz then it isn't in the scene of west hollywood and their isn't wicked traffic to get there. As well as it is close enough for me to come hang out! and the beach with a bunch of hotties from real jock? DUH!
