MoveOn.Org a large "California" based progressive organization has yet to take a stand on the marriage amendment slated for the upcoming election. I personally have unsubscribed from MoveOn's email list months ago because I never see them take any actions on LGBT issues and I find that disturbing.

MoveOn.org is now taking feedback on where their focus should be going fwd, please let them know LGBT issues are important to you, as well as defeating the anti-gay marriage amendment in California.

Move-On dot Org can't do that! They're spending all their resources finding ways to slander Senator McCain.

Get a grip pal, "Progressives" could care less about us.

    Hi, H4L

I'm still a member of MoveOn. I think maybe they're trying to keep their focus narrow, but that's not saying that they shouldn't think about addressing issues of equality. I get mail all the time from HRC on this.
But I'll pass it on. You're right, you never know until you ask.

You guys are both right that moveon has its primary issues and concerns and invests time and energy into them. I just find it ironic that they have NEVER atleast as far as I can tell supported any LGBT thing. I am offended to be honest. So I really hope they step up to bat for us with regards to defeating this amendment out in CA.
